Talks dedicated to Caithness scholars

A series of talks on science being delivered at the Caithness Horizons museum in Thurso will be dedicated to two late north scholars.

Scientist and writer Howie Firth's lectures will be given over the next seven days.

He has dedicated them to Dr Eric Voice and Donald Omand.

Dr Voice gave an acclaimed talk on climate change in Edinburgh in 1989, while Mr Omand who was held in high regard for his knowledge of the north.
