Man's body recovered from mud flats at Dingwall

A man's body has been recovered from mud flats at Dingwall.

Emergency services were alerted at about 0900 BST after a member of the public saw the body on the mud flats near the town's Ferry Road.

Police, firefighters and the Maritime and Coastguard Agency were called to the scene.

Northern Constabulary said the man's death did not appear to be suspicious at this stage and were attempting to contact his family.
