Man charged after woman's death in Glasgow flat

A 46-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of Jacqueline Grant.

The body of the 54-year-old was discovered in her home in Cumlodden Drive, in the Maryhill area of Glasgow, at about 17:25 on 6 April.

Police Scotland previously said the death was being treated as murder.

The man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
