Worker killed on St Enoch shopping centre building site
A construction worker has died after an accident at one of Glasgow's largest shopping centres.
The 43-year-old man was part of a team working on the £40m revamp of the St Enoch Centre when he suffered serious injuries.
Emergency services were called to the centre at about 15:20 and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Scotland said: "A joint Police Scotland and Health and Safety Executive investigation is ongoing."
The centre is undergoing a major upgrade, which is expected to be completed next year.
