Woman, 84, hit by bus in Paisley town centre

An 84-year-old woman has been taken to hospital after being struck by a bus in Paisley.

The emergency services were called to St Mirren Street in the Renfrewshire town at about 12:15.

No-one else was hurt in the incident. The elderly woman's injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.

The road was closed to traffic while investigations were carried out but has since reopened.
