Man arrested over Ross Monaghan shooting outside school

A 36-year-old man has been arrested over a shooting outside a Glasgow primary school.

The incident took place outside St George's Primary School in Penilee shortly after 09:00 on 16 January.

Ross Monaghan, 35, was injured in the shooting just after he dropped a child off at the school. He was released from hospital later the same day.

The man is detained in police custody. A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
