Police say no crime committed after Glasgow rape claim

Police Scotland has said no crime was committed after claims that a 19-year-old woman was raped in Glasgow city centre.

It was alleged that a serious sexual assault took place in Renfrew Street at about 03:00 on Tuesday.

A police spokesman said: "The investigation is now complete and no criminality has been established."
