Woman sought over robbery on fast food delivery driver
A woman is being sought by police after a fast food delivery driver was threatened and robbed in Renfrewshire.
The 24-year-old female victim, was targeted in her car, outside Papa Grill, on Causeyside Street, Paisley, at about 21:50 on Thursday.
The suspect, who possible had a weapon, entered the front-side passenger door, threatened the driver and made off with a three-figure sum of cash.
The driver was not injured and raised the alarm after the woman fled.
The suspect is described as female, aged between 35 and 45 years old, about 5ft tall, with a Scottish accent and a wrinkled face.
At the time of the robbery, she was wearing dark clothing and a black puffer-style jacket with black fur at the neck.
Det Con John Sharkey, who is leading the investigation, said: "We are carrying out extensive inquiries in order to trace the woman responsible for the robbery.
"We have been working to ascertain available CCTV and have speaking to a number of individuals in the area.
"At this time we are seeking information from the public to help trace the suspect. I would appeal to anyone who was on Causeyside Street around the time of the robbery to contact police if they have any information."
