Boy, 16, arrested after Old Firm disorder

Hanging effigies

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with disorder at the last Old Firm match.

The arrest is part of a continuing police investigation into offensive behaviour and vandalism during the game. This included effigies of Rangers fans being hung from the stands.

It happened on 10 September, when Celtic and Rangers faced each other at Parkhead.

The teenager is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
