Police probe city centre sex attack on teenager

Police are investigating an alleged sex attack on an 18-year-old woman in Glasgow city centre.

Officers were called to reports that the teenager had been sexually assaulted just after 01:00 on Tuesday.

They have sealed off an area of Broomielaw, at the River Clyde, close to Glasgow Bridge and the Glasgow Central rail bridge.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said inquiries into the incident were at an early stage.
