Man cleared of raping woman in Glasgow hotel room

A man has been cleared of raping a woman in a Glasgow hotel room.

Kyle McLoney, from the city's Summerston area, had been accused of carrying out the attack at the Novotel Hotel, Pitt Street, in February 2015.

The 22-year-old had denied the accusation when the case called for trial at the High Court in Glasgow.

Mr McLoney wept after a jury found him not guilty of rape.
