Two boys aged 13 charged with attempted murder after Paisley attack
Two 13-year-old boys have appeared in court charged with attempted murder after a gang attack on a man in Renfrewshire.
The teenagers are among seven people accused of attacking the 39-year-old in Forbes Place, Paisley, on 24 September.
They were released on bail after appearing at Paisley Sheriff Court.
Two 16-year-old girls, and two others aged 15 and 17, also face charges in connection with the attack as does another boy, aged 15.
One of the 13-year-old boys appeared in court on Wednesday, while the other appeared separately on Thursday.
The 15-year-old boy appeared in court on Wednesday and was also granted bail.
Two teenage girls, aged 15 and 16, were charged in connection with the attack on Tuesday.
They made no plea or declaration and the case against them was continued.
The 16-year-old girl was remanded in custody, while 15-year-old was released on bail.
Two boys aged 16 and 17 were due to appear in court on Friday but were released without appearing in the dock.
They have been reported to the procurator fiscal and inquiries are continuing.
