Second man arrested over shotgun attack in Glasgow's Govan area

A second man has been arrested in connection with a shotgun attack in Glasgow which injured two others.

Last month, Ryan Carvil, 22, appeared in court charged with firing a weapon at Liam Bolger and Jay Fraser at Langlands Road in Govan on 11 July.

Police Scotland have now said that a 25-year-old man has been held over the incident, which is being treated as attempted murder.

He is expected to appear from custody at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
