Appeal after young woman goes missing in Glasgow

Police have appealed for help in finding a woman who has been missing from her home in Glasgow since Sunday.

Dorisa Andra Szanto, 27, who is from Romania, was last seen at 05:30 when she left her home in Alfred Terrace, in the city's west end, to go for a walk.

Ms Szanto is 5ft 4in tall, slim, with brown hair shaved on the right side, brown eyes and a tanned complexion.

She was wearing a black jacket, light top, denims, white shoes and sunglasses with her hair tied in a ponytail.

Sgt Annette McVicar said: "We now have a confirmed sighting of Dorisa heading west, away from Alfred Terrace at around 05:30 hours.

"I'd like to speak to anyone who has seen her since 05:30 hrs on Sunday 24 July or anyone who knows of her present whereabouts.

"We would also continue to appeal directly to Dorisa to contact her family, friends or police to let us know that she is safe and well."
