Three men have been left injured after they were attacked as they left a bar in Glasgow.

Two men, aged 60 and 45, were seriously hurt in the incident in the Auchinairn area of the city at 00:10.

Police Scotland said they were being treated at Glasgow Royal Infirmary while a third man, aged 54, was released after treatment.

They have appealed for help in tracing the group responsible for the attack outside The Campsie in Woodhill Road.

Police believe it was carried out by three or four men who were dressed in dark clothing.

Their ages ranged from late 20s to late 40s.

Det Sgt David MacGregor said: "This was a violent attack which left three men badly hurt and requiring hospital treatment.

"Officers are carrying out inquiries, including examining CCTV and speaking to people locally, to establish the circumstances."
