Biker injured in crash with bin lorry in Glasgow

A motorcyclist has suffered serious injuries after being involved in a crash with a bin lorry in Glasgow.

The accident happened at a roundabout on Braidcraft Road at about 16:15 on Saturday afternoon.

Police said the 26-year-old biker was taken to the city's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.

The 51-year-old driver of the bin lorry and his two male passengers were not injured. Police said inquiries into the incident were ongoing.
