Man injured after being hit by bus near SECC in Glasgow

A man has been taken to hospital after being struck by a bus near the SECC complex in Glasgow.

Emergency services were called to the scene in Lancefield Quay, close to the Clyde Arc bridge, at about 14:40.

Police began directing traffic while paramedics treated the man and transferred him to an ambulance.

He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. There is no update on his condition. Police Scotland said officers were still at the scene.
