Man arrested in Hamilton over cocaine and cannabis haul

A 40-year-old man has been arrested after illegal drugs with a street value of about £145,000 were seized at a house in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire.

Police Scotland said officers, acting under warrant, searched the house in the town's Corsock Avenue at about 11:40 on Sunday.

The drugs recovered are believed to be cocaine and herbal cannabis.

The 40-year-old man is expected to appear from custody at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday.
