Man arrested following raid on Glasgow branch of Bank of Scotland

A 46-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a bank robbery in Glasgow.

Police were called to the Bank of Scotland branch in Clarkston Road, Muirend, at about 12:45 on Friday 29 August.

The robber was said to have made off with a four-figure sum of money.

The arrested man was expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
