Time running out for Scots Christmas lotto winner

The winner of a £1m Christmas Day lottery raffle has less than two weeks to claim the prize before it expires.

The ticket for the EuroMillions draw was bought in South Lanarkshire on Christmas Day last year.

Although it never won the main prize, the ticket's unique code - FYG204038 - was drawn as the winner of the Millionaire Raffle.

If the winner does not claim before 23 June the cash will go to the National Lottery Good Causes fund.

A EuroMillions spokeswoman said: "Think back to where you put your Christmas day ticket - search through your presents and hunt through your boxed decorations. Someone has a £1m belated Christmas present waiting just for them.

"We need South Lanarkshire to find this ticket - the prize is waiting to be claimed, but it won't be for much longer. Just think what £1m could do for the lucky ticket-holder."

Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket can call the National Lottery Line.
