Murder charge over decomposed body found in Glasgow flat

A man has appeared in court charged with murdering a man whose decomposed body was found in his Glasgow home.

Robert Henderson is accused of killing Hugh Boyd at his flat in Old Dumbarton Road, Yorkhill, sometime between 20 October and 1 November last year.

The remains of Mr Boyd, 57, who was originally from Wishaw, are believed to have lain undiscovered for a year.

At Glasgow Sheriff Court, 27-year-old Henderson made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody.
