Taxi clue in Glasgow murder attempt

Police want to trace a taxi driver who is believed to have picked up two men wanted in connection with an attempted murder in Glasgow.

A 20-year-old man was chased by two men and stabbed in a "premeditated attack" in Queen Victoria Drive, Scotstoun, at about 0550 BST on Sunday.

The suspects then got into a silver-coloured car which is believed to have been a private hire taxi.

Police have asked anyone with information to contact them.
