Lamb dies and equipment destroyed in Bathgate farm fire

Two barns were destroyed and a lamb was killed in a what is thought to be a deliberate fire in West Lothian. .

A tractor and a forklift were also destroyed in the blaze at South Mains Farm in Bathgate.

The majority of livestock in the barns was saved but one lamb died.

Police Scotland said officers were "pursuing a number of lines of inquiry" and appealed for anyone with information to contact them.

The fire took hold in the early hours of Thursday.
