Motorcyclist sought over hit-and-run crash in Edinburgh

A motorcyclist involved in a hit-and-run crash in Edinburgh is being sought by police.

The incident took place at about 22:10 on Thursday on Muirhouse Green, at its junction with Ferry Road.

A Ford Fiesta turning from Ferry Road onto Muirhouse Green was involved in a collision with a Honda motorbike.

The 28-year-old male driver of the Ford sustained minor injuries, but the motorcyclist left the scene by running off.

Sgt Shane McKenna, of Police Scotland, said: "As part of our ongoing inquiry we are keen to trace the motorcycle rider involved in this collision."
