Victim of fatal crash at Bathgate roundabout named

A 69-year-old driver who died in a two-car crash at a roundabout in West Lothian has been named.

Glenn McDonald, from Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire, was pronounced dead at the scene after the crash which happened on the A801 at Boghead roundabout, Bathgate, at 17:00 on Sunday.

He had been driving an Audi A4 when it was involved in the crash with a Ford Fiesta.

The man and woman in the Ford Fiesta were treated for minor injuries.

Insp Richard Latto, from Police Scotland, said: "This is a very difficult time for Glenn's family and friends and our condolences are with them.

"Inquiries into the full circumstances surrounding this collision are still ongoing and I would urge anyone with information to contact us as soon as possible."
