Teenagers charged over pupil attack at Edinburgh school
Three teenage boys have been charged following an attack on another pupil at an Edinburgh school.
The attack happened at a school in the north of the city, which cannot be named for legal reasons, on 2 February.
Three pupils, two aged 14 and one aged 15, have been reported to the Children's Panel.
A Police Scotland spokesman, said: "Assaults of any nature are treated with the utmost seriousness and we will investigate all reports passed to us."
An Edinburgh city council spokeswoman said: "Bullying is unacceptable and schools will always take complaints about it very seriously.
"Allegations of bullying are investigated and support plans are in place to help those who are affected.
"Anyone found to have been involved in this type of behaviour will be dealt with by the school, and if appropriate by the police."
