Family tribute as Roy Paul dies in crash in Valleyfield

The family of a 25-year-old man who died in a two-car crash in Fife has paid tribute to the "loving son, brother and uncle".

Roy Paul, from Burntisland, died in Forth Valley Royal Hospital on Tuesday following Sunday's accident.

The crash on the A985 at Valleyfield involved a Vauxhall Astra travelling east and a westbound Peugeot Boxer.

The family said, Mr Paul, would be "sadly missed". A 56-year-old man was also treated at the scene.

Mr Paul was the driver of the Vauxhall Astra.

His family said: "Roy was a loving son, brother and uncle who will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him."

Sgt James Henry of Police Scotland, said: "Our thoughts and condolences go to Roy's family at this difficult time.

"We would like to ask anyone who may have witnessed this collision, or who has information that can assist us with our inquiries, to get in touch."
