CCTV image released in Kirkcaldy station attack appeal

A CCTV image of a man police believe may have information in connection with an assault at a Fife train station has been release.

A 25-year-old man was attacked at Kirkcaldy station on Saturday, 12 September 2015.

It happened shortly before midnight as the man got off the 23.08 Edinburgh Waverley to Dundee service.

The man in the photograph is of medium build with light brown hair. He was wearing a light blue jacket.

He was also wearing an orange top and jeans.

Det Con Paul Farquhar, the British Transport Police officer in charge of the inquiry, said: "I am appealing to anyone who recognises the man shown in the photographs to contact me as a matter of urgency."
