Police identify Edinburgh motorway crash victim
Police have identified a man who died in a collision on the M8 motorway on the outskirts of Edinburgh between the Gogar and Hermiston junctions.
Murray D'Angelo, 28, was killed in the incident at about 06:15 on Saturday.
He had been travelling in a taxi with two other passengers but got out while it was on the motorway.
Police are still investigating the circumstances of the accident and asked anyone who was in the area at the time to contact them.
The motorway was closed for almost eight hours to allow for investigation work to be carried out.
