Teenager charged over fire at Edinburgh's St Paul's Church

A 14-year-old boy has been charged in connection with a fire at a church in Edinburgh.

The large fire broke out at the vacant St Paul's RC church in Muirhouse Avenue at about 21:30 on Monday.

The teenager will be reported to the Children's Reporter.

Police said inquiries were ongoing to trace others believed to be involved and asked anyone with information to contact them.

At its height, about 20 firefighters battled the blaze. No-one was injured.
