Organisers of Edinburgh's Hogmanay have revealed the full programme of events that will usher in the new year.

Celebrations will begin on 30 December with a torchlit procession, and end with a dip in the River Forth in the annual Loony Dook on New Year's Day.

About 8,000 torch-bearers are expected to take part in the opening of the three-day festival.

Joining Lily Allen at the Concert in the Gardens on Hogmanay will be Bjorn Again and Soul II Soul.

Interactive dance party act Hot Dub Time Machine will also return to Edinburgh's Street Party.

Tens of thousands of visitors from across the world are expected to attend the party, which will feature performances from Twin Atlantic, Young Fathers and The Twilight Sad.
