Bus and van crash in East Lothian
A van and a bus with 31 passengers on board were involved in a crash on the A1 in East Lothian.
The emergency services responded at 19:00 on Monday to what was initially thought to be a major incident.
The BBC understands that no-one was seriously hurt in the collision although the bus driver was trapped and had to freed by firefighters.
The A1 road was closed northbound for a time from Haddington to Thistly Cross roundabout.
The Scottish Ambulance Service said it took one bus passenger to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary with minor injuries,
A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called out by the ambulance service.
"The bus driver was trapped by his foot. He was uninjured but we used small tools to release him.
"There were 31 passengers on the bus."
