Man attacked before being pushed off bus in Edinburgh
Police in Edinburgh are appealing for witnesses after a 43-year-old man was assaulted on a bus in Edinburgh.
The attack happened on the Number 14 Lothian bus at about 21:00 on Friday 18 July, as it travelled along Peffermill Road.
The victim then pushed the emergency button, causing the bus to stop.
While he was speaking to the driver, another passenger pushed him out of the bus, causing him to hit his head on a wall.
Police want to hear from anybody who witnessed what happened.
PC Kevin Walls, of Police Scotland, said: "This assault resulted in the victim receiving a wound to the head and he required hospital treatment.
"We are now looking to speak to anyone who was on the number 14 bus around 9pm on Thursday 18th July to come forward."
