Two arrests after £25,000 of diamorphine found in Edinburgh homes

Two men have been arrested and charged after £25,000 worth of class A drugs were found in three houses in Edinburgh.

Police searched properties in Loganlea Avenue, Lochend Gardens and Barronscourt Road on Tuesday and seized over eight ounces of diamorphine.

Lothian and Borders Police is urging anyone with information relating to drug crime in the area to come forward.

Two men aged 44 and 37 are to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court later.
