Police 'concerned' after shotgun stolen in Fife

Police say they are "extremely concerned" after a shotgun was stolen from a property in Fife.

The licensed firearm was taken from Jamphlars Road in Cardenen sometime between 1430 GMT on Friday and noon on Sunday.

Fife Constabulary launched an appeal calling for potential witnesses to come forward.

The force has also asked for anyone who may have seen an unusual vehicle in the area to get in touch.

Anyone with information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the theft and the recovery of the weapon could be eligible for a reward, police added.
