Fife crash victim was a 'beautiful girl'

A 20-year-old woman who died in a crash on bonfire night was a "bubbly, fun-loving, beautiful girl", her family have said.

Sara Louise Scott died in hospital following the accident, which happened on the A92 near Freuchie in Fife.

Ms Scott, from St Andrews, was a passenger in the car, a blue Seat Ibiza, which overturned at about 2000 GMT on Friday.

Her family said they were devastated by her death.

In a statement they said: "Sara Louise Scott said she was a much-loved daughter, granddaughter, sister, partner, niece and friend.

"We will desperately miss the bubbly, fun-loving, beautiful girl Sara was. She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her."

The man driving the car suffered minor injuries.

The road was closed for eight hours after the crash while police carried out investigations.

Fife Constabulary said they were keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the car before the crash.
