Police name businessman shot dead in Fife

A man who was shot dead at a house in Glenrothes, Fife, has been formally named as Mohammed Nadeem Siddique.

Fife Constabulary said the local businessman, known as Toby, received the fatal wounds on Sunday evening after the incident in Forres Drive.

Another man, who has not been named, was also injured.

Officers investigating the murder want to speak to a man in his 30s, with short brown hair, a stocky build and wearing a dark zip-up top.

A police spokesman said: "We appeal to anybody with any knowledge of this incident to come forward and call Fife Constabulary."

The body of Mr Siddique was found after officers were called to the house following reports a firearm had been discharged.
