Drivers in Fife faced lengthy delays after an articulated lorry jack-knifed on the M90.

The accident, which involved a Stobart lorry, happened at about 1025 BST.

The lorry blocked most of the southbound carriageway of the M90 at junction 2 Pitreavie. The A823 Pitreavie spur onto the slip road was also blocked.

A spokesman for Fife Constabulary said there were queues of four to five miles back to Halbeath.

The lorry has since been moved.
