Amy Winehouse's father cancels Edinburgh jazz gig
Amy Winehouse's father Mitch has been forced to cancel a gig in Edinburgh, after falling ill.
The former taxi driver turned jazz singer was due to launch his UK tour but became unwell on holiday in Spain.
Mr Winehouse, 60, is currently in hospital and waiting to hear whether he will have to call off more dates in his tour.
His first gig was due to have been held in the The Living Room piano bar and restaurant in the capital.
His spokesman said: "It appears to be food poisoning or gastroenteritis. His manager is now on his way to see him in hospital."
Mr Winehouse recently said his daughter, who released her last album Back To Black almost four years ago, encouraged him to go into the studio.
He admitted he would not be bringing out an album if he was not Amy's father.
