The Sunday Herald says secret US diplomatic cables scoffing at the SNP's commitment to ditch Trident after independence have been attacked by former first minister Alex Salmond.

Scotland on Sunday imagines what a post-Brexit frontier would look like in an independent Scotland.

The Scottish Mail on Sunday reports on the mother and son who died after a rescue at Aberdeen beach on Saturday.

The Sunday Mail also has a story on the Aberdeen beach tragedy on its front page, in what the paper calls a "wave horror".

And the Sunday Post says that witnesses saw people playing in the water at the Aberdeen seafront before tragedy struck.
