  • A robin and a red squirrel in the snow

    A robin and a red squirrel ventured into Kirsty Morris's garden by Kinnoull Woods, Perth.

  • Orlyn sledging with her friends

    Orlyn sledging with her friends near Eskbank, Midlothian. Dad Russell Fallis later helped build a Merida-inspired snowman complete with dress and crown.

  • Snowy owl

    A snowy owl in Camperdown Park. Eric Niven, from Dundee, thought it looked rather smug and seemed to be enjoying the snow.

  • Snow melting off solar panels

    Bernie Allison from Fyvie, Aberdeenshire, said: "Not even -5C and snow stops the solar panels working".

  • Snow on trees

    Jean Gibbon said: "It is not supposed to be snowing here at Carsphairn".

  • Freya the dog wanders into the Lake of Menteith

    Freya was more interested in the Lake of Menteith than the snow according to owner Rebecca Sutherland from Cumbernauld.

  • Sunrise over Drymen

    Sunrise over the Old Gartmore Road out of Drymen, looking south towards the Campsies and Duncryne. Wendi Bates, from Balfron, was up at 09:00 GMT on Saturday morning to capture the scene.

    'Master Snowda' was built by Rachael Taylor's sons and their grandmother in Aberdeenshire.
