Osprey 'love triangle' at Caerlaverock


Osprey watchers at Caerlaverock, near Dumfries, are waiting to find out who will emerge top-bird in a love spat.

A previously unidentified male osprey arrived this week and set up nest with a female, who has reared chicks at Caerlaverock for the past two years. Her regular mate turned up and was not happy.
