An 18-year-old piper is the first woman in more than 20 years to make the final of the Glenfiddich Piping Championship.

She earned her place after winning the Highland Society of London's gold medal at the Argyllshire Gathering in August.

Also, Stuart Liddell, of Inveraray, William McCallum, from Campbeltown, and Candian-based pipers Jack Lee, Bruce Gandy and Andrew Hayes.
