Lib Dem leader and Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg has announced he will take questions on a radio phone-in every Thursday morning.

He will appear on Nick Ferrari's show on London's LBC 97.3 for 30 minutes.

"You can't do the right thing in government unless you keep in touch with how people are thinking and feeling," Mr Clegg said.

"I'm doing this because I don't think politicians get to hear enough from people directly," he added.

LBC 97.3 broadcasts in London but can be heard online anywhere.
