Lord Barnett: change my Scotland, Wales, NI formula funding

Help

Lord Barnett is calling for a change to the formula that bears his name, saying additional funding is being used for political purposes for subsidies not available in England.

The Barnett Formula calculates the way in which money from central Government gets allocated to Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

This is part of our series of interviews, entitled Change Makers, in which the Daily Politics talks to people who have radically changed Britain and they discuss their political legacy.
