Paul McCauley murder: Woman arrested in Londonderry released on bail
A woman arrested on suspicion of withholding information over the murder of Londonderry man Paul McCauley has been released on police bail.
Mr McCauley died nine years after he was severely beaten in a sectarian attack in the city in 2006.
He suffered multiple injuries, including a brain haemorrhage and never regained consciousness. The father-of-one died last month.
A 25-year-old woman was arrested on Wednesday morning.
Mr McCauley was 29-years-old when he was attacked at a barbecue at Chapel Road in July 2006.
A total of eight people have now been arrested since his death.
A 24-year-old man has been charged with murder.
The police have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
