Attacks at Londonderry homes of police officer's relatives
Cars damaged in attacks in Derry were at the homes of relatives of a police officer, the BBC understands.
A car parked in Drumleck Gardens in Shantallow had two windows smashed and accelerant poured over it on Monday night.
In Kylemore Park, accelerant was also poured over a car.
Sinn Féin councillor Tony Hassan has condemned the attacks.
"This attack was wrong and shouldn't have happened.
"The vast majority of people in the Shantallow area want to move our community forward without this type of incident happening.
"This family should be allowed to live in peace and quiet."
