Police have said the death of a man in his 30s in the County Armagh village of Bessbrook is no longer being treated as murder.

It follows a post-mortem examination.

Six people were arrested on Wednesday after the man's body was discovered in a property in the Acorn Hill area that morning.

Police said three men and three women who were arrested in connection with the man's death have been released unconditionally.

They added that a 39-year-old woman was then "re-arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm".

"She has been released on bail pending further enquiries," a police spokesperson said.
