Man suffers shock in Fermanagh explosion

A man was taken to hospital after an explosive device damaged a van in Irvinestown, County Fermanagh.

Police were alerted to a loud bang at Sally's Wood in the town just after midnight.

The man, thought to have been near the vehicle at the time of the explosion, was treated for shock.

The scene was examined in daylight but nothing further was found and police have left the area.

The blue van was taken away for further examination.
