Herbal cannabis, valued at £100,000 and destined for Northern Ireland, has been recovered from the postal system, police have said.

The package was intercepted in England on Saturday 7 January.

No arrests have been made but a search has been carried out in the greater Belfast area, the PSNI's Reactive and Organised Crime Branch said.

Further searches in relation to the recovery would "be carried out in due course," the force added.
